The majority of fire departments and firefighters in the United States are volunteers and often rely on supplemental funding to support their mission. These donations help departments fund their training, maintain equipment and apparatus, and deploy the most up-to-date tools and technology to serve their communities.
The publisher of Grailing Press, Michael Piekny, is a volunteer firefighter and knows the challenges that volunteer departments face in their mission to provide professional emergency services to local communities.
