Grailing Press announces the launch of Grailing, an online magazine for short fiction, flash fiction, poetry, and criticism. The magazine will feature new writing from around the world and introduce new voices to its readers. The magazine grows out of Grailing Press's Publisher Michael Piekny's experience in periodical literary publishing--Michael spent two years as an Acquisitions Editor for the online journal The Fictional Cafe.
"Grailing is starting out with its core mediums of short fiction, flash fiction, poetry, and criticism--but there is so much wonderful art and writing out there that it's hard to pigeonhole the magazine at all," said publisher Michael Piekny. "The ultimate vision for Grailing is that it will be an online arts space where artists of all kinds can feature their work and find their audience."
Grailing will publish in rolling fashion as issue-length material is collected and curated--the magazine is dedicated to publishing shorter issues of three to five works to let its artists stand out and to give readers an undiluted and immersive experience in the works published. Readers can expect powerful and exciting experiences with the multi-genre works Grailing will feature.
Grailing is free to read and readers are encouraged to subscribe at grailingpress.com/grailing to ensure they receive the newest issue right when it debuts.
All writers are encouraged to submit to Grailing and submissions guidelines can be found at grailingpress.com/grailing/submissions.
